Hades, Demeter, and Persephone

Persephone is theĀ Greek goddess queen of the underworld, vegetation, and spring, known as the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. Abducted by her uncle Hades, she became his wife and rules the underworld with him, while her annual return to earth symbolizes the spring, growth, and the harvest. She is central to the Eleusinian Mysteries, representing life, death, and rebirth.
